Maple Bluff is a suburb of Madison and site of the Wisconsin’s Governor’s Mansion. The Village became established in the late 1890's by Thomas E. Coleman. It’s a small community of gorgeous homes on the shores of Lake Mendota. Maple Bluff Country Club is a private golf club that offers its members first class services. The 18 hole course dates back to 1899. Its beautifully manicured and challenging layout is considered one of the finest golf courses in the Midwest. The pool is open from Memorial Day to Labor Day and home to the Maple Bluff Muskies Swim and Dive Team. Maple Bluff Country Club offers year-round racquet sports with several tennis courts and two state-of-the-are paddle tennis courts for its members. The facility offers year-round dining and banquet plus a fitness center. Beach Park has a pier with a swimming area. McBride Park has a small play structure, sandbox, basketball court and open area for other ball games or just to run around. Maple Bluff is part of the Madison Metropolitan School District.
