Lake Mills is 25 miles east of Madison in Jefferson County on the eastern shores of Rock Lake. Commons Park is the show case park of Lake Mills and host to many community events. This park is triangular and contains a gazebo-style band shelter, a small picnic shelter, two monuments and restroom facilities. In the winter months the park has a man-made ice rink facility and a warming house.
